Job summary

The Wasserstrom Company is seeking a Material Handler/ Cherry Picker Operator for our Bethlehem, PA distribution center. This full-time, on-site role involves loading/unloading shipments, picking and putting away product, and using RF scanners to verify items and locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and forklift experience is welcome but not required. First shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform, picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities, utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive, and operatingof multiple pieces of motorized equipmentin asafe and propermanner. Wasserstrom offers first shift starting at 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Monday-Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed.

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. and the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 1 - 2 years previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
