Job summary

Rheem in Madison, WI is seeking a full-time Material Handler with a 9:00am start to support order fulfillment. The role focuses on pulling product using an RF scanner, staging pallets, and loading trucks with emphasis on space efficiency and safety.

The candidate will lift up to 50 lbs, may operate forklift equipment, and can work overtime as needed. Backup driving duties are included as required, offering a varied warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong math skills are required to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Work at heights of 20 ft on a regular basis.
• Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Work on feet including walking for extended periods.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to backup drive - driver's license, good driving record, willingness to obtain FedMed card.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders accurately as assigned for daily deliveries using an RF scanner.
• Stage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets, etc.
• Load trucks for daily and special deliveries.
• Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action.
• May operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery.
• Assist customers and/or drivers in loading materials into vehicles and trucks.
• Work as a team as well as individually.
• Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
