Job summary

Amcor is seeking a backup CDL-A driver to support the primary driver and perform warehouse responsibilities in South Carolina. You will handle inventory transactions with barcode scanner, pull materials, load/unload, complete paperwork, and operate dock equipment while maintaining safety and accurate records.

The role requires two years of OTR CDL operation and a clean driving record. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

  • CDL-A license required with a clean driving record.
  • Two years of over-the-road tractor/trailer CDL operation (multistate).
  • Accurate completion of required paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as backup for CDL-A driver when primary driver is out.
  • Perform inventory transactions using barcode scanner and/or computer system.
  • Load/unload/relocate material as needed.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Operate dock and warehouse equipment and report issues.
  • Verify and inspect incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Warehousing to maximize space usage.
  • Troubleshoot material problems including inventory discrepancies, freight damage, handling issues.

Job Description
  • Serves as backup for CDL-A driver when primary driver is out
  • Responsible for various inventory transactions using barcode scanner and/or computer system including locating material, cycle counting, and pulling material
  • Accurate and legible completion of all required paperwork.
  • Load/Unload/Relocate material as needed per Inventory/Production/Shipping/Quality Control requirements.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Operate dock and warehouse equipment, correct, or report any issue identified.
  • Comply with receiving of any material (raw materials, packaging materials, office supplies, production supplies, maintenance supplies and others).
  • Verify, identify, and inspect a variety of incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods from operations.
  • Warehousing (moving product to maximize usage of warehouse space)
  • Trouble shoot any material problems including inventory discrepancies, freight damage, contamination, packaging, or handling issues.
  • Must possess valid Commercial Drivers License.
  • Two years over the road operation of tractor/trailer with CDL (multi-state).
  • Must have no more than one traffic violation and no at fault accidents on driving record.
