The Logistics Material Handler role involves a variety of tasks related to the incoming, expediting, and outgoing of program and facility materials and equipment.
Responsibilities: These include, but are not limited to: receiving, picking, and shipping orders; maintaining warehouse cleanliness; packaging, kitting, and transportation; using material handling equipment such as screw guns and strapping machines; operating forklifts and pallet jacks; lifting up to 28 lbs; data entry for received and shipped materials; and working in environments requiring safety compliance. Overtime may be needed. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS), PRISM, and experience in logistics environments are preferred.
Education: Typically a high school diploma or associate degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
