Job summary

Donaldson Company in Anderson, IN is seeking a forklift operator to move materials, assist with staging parts, and maintain organized inventory on the plant floor.

You will perform cycle counts, tagging, and location accuracy, operate forklifts safely, and support teammates while complying with EHS policies; overtime may be required.

This role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Move materials within the department and deliver to other departments as needed.
• Assist with staging parts based on the production build schedule.
• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory records.
• Ensure correct tagging and identification of parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations using the inventory control system.
• Remove cardboard and wood waste and keep area clean and organized.
• Support department processes and collaborate with coworkers as needed.
• Comply with all EHS and PPE policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience, including previous forklift certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, work around loud machinery, and perform repetitive motion.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and offshifts as business needs require.

• Ability to learn department processes, parts, and material flow requirements.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work toward shared goals.
