Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking a Material Handler and Machine Operator for a Fort Worth, TX facility. Day shift, 8 hours with overtime, pay $20 per hour.

duties include operating plastic fabrication equipment, safe handling, forklift use, and ensuring proper labeling and packaging. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, performing inspections for defects, loading raw materials, shipping manifests, and keeping the area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience and safety awareness.
• Ability to inspect bottles for defects and report nonconformities.
• Ability to pull stock and load trailers as needed.
• Effective material handling and packing duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to produce plastic products per specs.
• Inspect bottles for defects and report issues.
• Pack finished goods onto pallets or drive forklift when needed.
• Assist with mold and neck finish changes and quality adjustments.
• Maintain organized production area and handle scrap as required.

Previous forklift experience• Visually inspects bottles for defects and notifies team management of nonconforming product.• Pack finished goods onto pallets or drive forklift• Maintains appropriate levels of prepared Dunnage for Production packaging.• Ensures product is properly labelled and recorded• Monitors production as totes or pallets fill, removing, closing, ticketing and placing in warehouse• Supports crew where needed.• Keeps production area organized and clean• May load raw material (resin, preforms, etc.)• Pulls stock, fills out shipping manifest and loads trailers for deliveries.• Disposes of scrap and recycling – may utilize bailers or grinders• May perform rework/sorting duties.Ability to carry/and or maneuver up to 75 lbsMachine Operator:DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Efficient operation of machines and other associated equipment to successfully produce plastic products according to specification• Works safely, notifying leads and/or management of safety issues or concerns.• Visually inspects bottles for defects and notifies team management of nonconforming product as directed frequency requires.• Pack finished goods onto pallets or drive forklift as needed when short staffed• Good troubleshooting skills• Set up, repair, and troubleshoot equipment and processes• Troubleshooting Skills related to mechanical, pneumatic, electrical or hydraulic issues (if applicable)• Perform material handling procedures as required• Perform and assist with mold and neck finish changes as required• Assist and perform adjustments to meet quality specifications and/or cycle efficiencyThe JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
