An established industry player is seeking dedicated warehouse associates to manage order fulfillment and packing tasks. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity, ensuring that all associates are well-trained in operational procedures. Basic warehousing duties include order fulfillment and packing various products from multiple distribution locations. Employees will perform tasks using manual documents or computerized devices, following established operational and inventory control procedures. All associates will receive training to master specific skills with an emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity.
Pay Class and Pay
Pay Class: Full Time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.87 per hour
Requires comprehensive understanding of picking and stocking documents, labels, handheld scanners, personal computers, and printing devices.
Properly identify task lists for picking assignments.
Pack, store, and redistribute items systematically.
Pick and stock merchandise from predefined storage locations.
Meet or exceed production goals.
Use best practices and inventory controls to prevent shrinkage.
Assist in training new hires and perform other duties as assigned.
Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and the facility.
Follow all safety and health regulations to promote a safe workplace.
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience & Background:
1-3 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to operate computers and scanning/printing devices.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules and manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability:
Follow procedures and instructions logically, with problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must stand, handle, feel, and communicate frequently; occasionally walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Use of computers and machinery is common. Work hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Activity:
Stand, walk, sit, handle, reach, climb, stoop, and communicate as per specified time allocations.
Behavioral Characteristics:
Attention to detail, multitasking, willingness to learn, prioritization, onsite participation, and teamwork are essential.
