Job Title: Material Handler II - 1st Shift

Join Johnson Controls as a Material Handler II - 1st Shift in our Shipping department. The 1st shift runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some mandatory overtime on weekends. Apply now for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move parts and finished units.
• Work from freight bills and packing lists from incoming trucks.
• Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify parts numbers on supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and carriers manually and/or with lift trucks.
• Pack and unpack supplies, materials, and equipment; weigh and affix proper postage on packages and cartons.
• Move materials between manufacturing areas and storage areas.
• Use warehouse stackers to activate and retrieve required materials and equipment as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed to operate mobile industrial vehicles.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent bending and lifting.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Proficiency in using hands and hand tools throughout the shift.
