Job summary

Loos & Co in Pomfret, CT, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to move, store, receive, and ship materials and finished goods. You will support production, accuracy in inventory, and quality requirements while following safety and ISO/AS guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, data-entry skills, and dependable on-site attendance. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift experience helpful.
• Must have data-entry skills for applicable company, SPC, FedEx/UPS, inventory, and shipping systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old and comply with the company’s Drug, Alcohol Abuse, and Firearms Policy.
• Must meet applicable U.S. government status requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, store, stage, label, load, unload, and deliver materials using forklifts and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Pick, issue, transfer, put away, and supply inventory to production accurately.
• Prepare, package, verify, and process domestic and international shipments; document discrepancies.
• Complete required records including work orders, shipping documents, and inventory transactions.
• Identify, inspect, and respond to nonconforming material per quality requirements.
• Follow safety, quality, and ISO/AS guidelines and report hazards promptly.
• Communicate material needs and shipment status with supervisors and other departments.
