Job summary

Aerotek in Pontiac, MI is hiring a Material Handler to work on the B Crew, four 10-hour shifts from 4pm to 2:30am, Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be available on unscheduled days and weekends.

You will feed raw materials onto the production line, stage material for shipping, monitor the process, and assist with final packaging. Steel-toed shoes are required from day one, and the site is a climate-controlled, onsite warehouse.

Qualifications

• Material handling experience.
• Ability to operate RF scanners.
• Loading and general labor skills.
• Experience in general production processes.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively and squat/bend/duck.
• Good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Feed raw materials onto the production line.
• Stage material for shipping.
• Monitor the production process.
• Perform other production-related activities as instructed by management.
• Clean and organize the workplace.
• Complete final packaging of products following work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met.
• Comply with continuous training within the production department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
