Surge Staffing is hiring Temporary Production/Material Handlers to support daily operations in a busy manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on preparing, organizing, and staging materials and containers for production.

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced plant setting. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and to perform repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Level and rake preforms in open bins to ensure materials are properly positioned
• Place lids on bins as required
• Insert bags into bins based on product requirements
• Build and stage Gaylord boxes for production
• Strap and secure Gaylord boxes
• Build and assemble bins as needed
• Move and stage materials to designated areas
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
• Perform other general production and material handling duties as assigned
