Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Raleigh, NC is hiring Full Time Material Handlers to support our warehouse operations in a clean, safe environment. The role offers weekly pay, a base pay of $20.50 per hour plus $1.00 per hour additional pay, and Tuesday–Saturday 8:00 PM–4:30 AM shifts.

You will perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting, with focus on accuracy and safety. Training and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment and maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
