Job summary

Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, a division of The Toro Company, is seeking a warehouse associate for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). The role includes maintaining inventory, operating a stand-on forklift, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $22.24 plus $2.00 shift differential for a total of $24.24 per hour. Ability to learn multiple product lines and apply Lean/5S practices is required. Benefits available per company policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow standard work and procedures.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by identifying and placing materials in stock.
• Operate stand-on forklift to move parts and supplies.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and shelves.
• Record part numbers, quantities, locations, and serial numbers in the system.
• Perform visual checks on all parts for quality standards.
• Use hoists to set heavier parts on carts for assembly.
• Move parts to storage using pallet jack or forklift.
• Follow 5S and safety procedures to keep the area clean and safe.
• Learn multiple product lines and apply Lean methodologies to improve processes.

What Will You Do?

• Maintains inventory by identifying and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory with onboard computer terminal
• Operates a stand-on forklift to move all parts, finished goods, and deliveries
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand or with lifting device
• Records part numbers, quantities, locations, and/or serial numbers of finished inventory being moved with onboard computer terminal
• Performs visual check on all parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Operates electric or pneumatic hoist to set heavier painted parts on carts in advance of assembly
• Uses pallet jack or forklift to move parts to storage areas
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiatives
• Performs daily inspections of equipment within area of responsibility to insure all equipment is in safe working order
• Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards
• Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product
• Ability to learn a variety of different product lines
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
• Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
