Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Material Handler in Cranston, RI to support inventory accuracy and timely materials flow for production. This role requires forklift certification eligibility, data entry in ERP, and basic arithmetic.

You will manage picking, packing, and material movement with a focus on safety and accuracy. The position tracks inventory in ERP, performs cycle counts, and collaborates with team leads to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to attain forklift certification.
• Competence operating computer systems and completing basic data entry; ability to use scanning devices.
• Basic arithmetic skills and strong attention to detail; organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders from inventory, deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and move finished materials to the warehouse.
• Load, unload, and move materials while keeping storage areas orderly.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and monitoring materials in the ERP system; request materials as needed.
• Pick, verify, locate, pick, and pack materials for production needs; verify part numbers and quantities.
• Document material handling activities in the ERP system and complete cycle count verification.
