Summary

The Material Handler – Rural Hall NC location, position is responsible for the efficient handling of materials from Manufacturing and outside Suppliers going to our Assembly Plants and Customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate Electric Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, Stand-up Reach Trucks, and Sit-down Swing Reach Trucks.
• Complete daily checklist on Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Ensure safety equipment and devices are in place and functional.
• Operate MHE safely to prevent damage or injury.
• Unload inbound materials, warehouse, supply production lines, and load outbound shipments.
• Check trailers for safety.
• Ensure materials are properly unitized and marked.
• Verify quantities and descriptions of materials.
• Load pallets efficiently to maximize trailer space and reduce transit damage.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventory and perform daily cycle counts.
• Assist other areas as needed.
• Backup for Warehouse Clerk if necessary.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work safely and efficiently following company policies.
• Overtime may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
