Job summary

Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Material Handler I to support order picking, packing, and forklift operations in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

You will assist with packing/crating, operate a forklift, and perform inventory tasks using Epicor ERP and handheld scanners. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Material handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Overhead crane/forklift experience (2-3 years) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick electronic jobs (e-jobs) and materials according to lists and schedules.
• Assist with packing and crating parts.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Run basic reports using Epicor ERP.
• Use handheld scanners for tracking inventory.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Materials Manager, the Material Handler I will be responsible for picking e-jobs according to customer order and/or manufacturing order. They will assist with packing/crating parts, operating a forklift, and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking:
  • Pick electronic jobs (e-jobs) and materials based on assigned lists and schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of picked items.
• Inventory & Reporting:
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Run basic reports using Epicor ERP system.
  • Conduct routine forklift inspections and report any issues.
• Utilize handheld scanners for tracking and inventory management.
• Assist in packing and crating parts, assemblies, and other items for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required)
• Material Handling experience (preferred, not required)
• Overhead Crane/Forklift experience (2-3 years preferred, not required)
