Job description

Job Title: Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Join Prospira America Corporation as a Material Handler - 2nd Shift.

Pay Range: $17.10/hr (range provided by employer; actual pay depends on skills and experience).

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to deliver raw materials and transport finished goods, including stops at the Quality Lab.
• Store pallets of parts in designated areas, including elevated storage in Finished Goods or Work-in-Process.
• Deliver supplies such as compounds, OT’s, and IT’s to operators.
• Transport parts between process areas, QC inspection, and storage.
• Construct boxes according to customer requirements.
• Assist in sorting areas by moving parts for reprocessing, shipment staging, or scrap.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plant service aisle.
• Remove trash and paper from areas as needed.
• Maintain inventory control through proper chipboard management.
• Handle LPG gas tanks, including exchanging empty tanks.
• Ensure a safe working environment and report safety concerns.
• Perform general labor tasks to support safety and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current forklift certification/license or ability to obtain within two weeks.
• Ability to frequently get on and off a forklift.
• Ability to lift LPG gas tanks.
