Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to support our Automotive Solutions & Lamps unit. You will handle materials, ship/receive, and prepare shipments, with focus on accuracy, safety, and timeliness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role operates 2:45pm–11:15pm, with a $17.50/hour base pay plus a $2 shift differential and a $0.50/hour raise after a successful 6-month review. Candidates should pass lift and drug tests and maintain a valid lift license.

Qualifications

• Must pass Industrial lift Physical & Drug Test.
• Must maintain a valid lift operation license/certification.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and time oriented.
• 2-3 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and verify transactions.
• Ship and receive materials.
• Store materials properly and issue/return as instructed.
• Prepare merchandise for transfer and arrange pickups.
• Load/unload trucks; prepare shipment paperwork and labels.
• Operate a lift truck to transport goods and meet time constraints.

Job Description:

• Responsible for performing complex tasks involved in the handling of materials.
• Shipping and receiving materials.
• Storing materials properly in designated areas, following instructions to issue/return materials, returning rejected materials, prepares merchandise for transfer, arranges for pick-ups, loads/unloads of trucks and prepares paperwork and labels for shipments.
• Verifies receipt of product to stores location, store to store transfers, return authorization requests, and completes/verifies computerized transactions.
• Conducts inventory/cycle counts procedures and can follow packing slip and delivery procedures.
• Operates a lift truck to transport goods and material throughout the facility, must have the ability to work under time constraints, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are necessary.
• Also Interacts with internal/external associates and truck drivers/delivery personnel daily.

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

$2.00 shift differential

$0.50 / hour raise after 6-month successful review
