Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in New Hampshire is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler to perform complex material handling tasks, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and related responsibilities. The role requires operating a lift truck, following packing and shipping procedures, and collaborating with drivers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must pass Industrial lift, physical & drug test.
• Must maintain a valid lift operation license/certification.

Your new responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for performing complex tasks involved in the handling of materials.

Shipping and receiving materials.

Storing materials properly in designated areas, following instructions to issue/return materials, returning rejected materials, prepares merchandise for transfer, arranges for pick-ups, loads/unloads of trucks and prepares paperwork and labels for shipments.

Verifies receipt of product to stores location, store to store transfers, return authorization requests, and completes/verifies computerized transactions.

Conducts inventory/cycle counts procedures and can follow packing slip and delivery procedures.

Operates a lift truck to transport goods and material throughout the facility, must have the ability to work under time constraints, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are necessary.

Also Interacts with internal/external associates and truck drivers/delivery personnel daily.

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

$0.50 / hour raise after 6-month successful review
