Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Summary:

  • Perform transactions to receive material in CAS and IMPACT system.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory record of all OSV parts, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Troubleshoot any problems or issues with incoming/outgoing OSV shipments or paperwork.
  • Operate machinery as needed (Forklift, Skin Pack Machine, Crane, etc.).
  • Learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic working environment to ensure smooth movement of incoming/outgoing materials, meeting customer and manufacturing requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform transactions to receive material in CAS and IMPACT system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all OSV parts, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Troubleshoot issues with shipments or paperwork.
  • Operate machinery as needed.
  • Adapt to changing work environments to keep materials moving efficiently.
  • Organize raw materials (forgings, castings, etc.).
  • Ensure traceability and integrity of all materials.
  • Perform basic packaging for customer/vendor parts.
  • Load/unload trucks promptly.
  • Keep packaging manual updated to current requirements.
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Distribute materials as needed.
  • Support all business initiatives positively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fork truck license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift, transport, and manipulate boxes or materials up to 25 lbs., with or without accommodations.

Additional Eligibility:

GE will employ only those legally authorized to work in the U.S. Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.
