Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in Indiana. The role involves loading and unloading, verifying materials, and moving goods using forklifts and other equipment.

Responsibilities include inventory accuracy, cycle counts, packing for shipment, and maintaining safe work practices year-round. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for forklift experience and OSHA certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving and warehousing is preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and pass an OSHA certification.
• Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehousing concepts.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and handle various materials.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Meet performance standards by following procedures.
• Identify and report problems while proposing solutions.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

• Disposes of scrap packaging utilizing equipment such as a compactor.
• Exercises safe work habits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Key Skills And Abilities Sought

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations, experience desired
• Ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe and courteous manner, as well as, successfully complete a driving assessment and pass an OSHA approved certification program
• Experience and proficiency in operating sitdown and stand-up forklifts preferred
• Knowledge of inventory and warehousing concepts that promote effectiveness
• Able to lift waist high up to 70lbs. and to handle various materials/product
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors year 'round
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Ability to meet performance standards by adhering to established work procedures
• Ability to identify and report problems/concerns while recommending solutions
