Job summary

Lanxess Corporation is seeking a dedicated individual for the packaging department in East Hanover, New Jersey. Responsibilities include operating various packaging equipment, recording production data, and ensuring safety at all times.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of packaging equipment (including feed systems, fillers, seamers, case packers, palletizers, stretch wrappers, pail fillers, etc.).
• Work on manual fill operations.
• Record production information including batch data, OEE data, and production records.
• Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team on a packaging line as well as independently.
• Work safely and actively participate in the site's safety performance culture.

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical Degree strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Clear and comprehensive communication in English (written and verbal).
• Basic mathematical and numeracy skills.
• Computer/ICT literate.
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to spend extended time standing/walking.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Qualified forklift operator.
• Willing to work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
