Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking an Entry-Level Packaging Operator in East Hanover Township. In this role, you will operate various types of packaging equipment and work effectively as part of a manufacturing team. Communication skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Job Highlights

• Operate various types of packaging equipment (including but not limited to feed systems, fillers, seamers, case packers, palletizers, stretch wrappers, pail fillers, pail fillers, etc.)
• Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team/packaging line as well as working effectively on an individual basis.
• Work on manual fill operations
• Record production information including but limited to batch data, OEE data, production records, etc.
• Work safely and actively participating in and engaging in the site’s safety performance culture

Experience / Skills

• Associate’s or Technical Degree strongly preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalence required
• Clear and comprehensive communication in English (written/verbal)
• Basic mathematic and numeracy skills
• Computer / ICT literate
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to spend extended time standing/walking
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Qualified Forklift Operator
• Willing to work 2nd shift, Monday thru Friday, 3 PM until 11:30 PM
