Material Handler - 2nd Shift (Finance)

Shift: Afternoon, Monday - Friday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Typical daily responsibilities include:

• Supporting operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
• Using hand trucks, conveyors, or other material handling equipment
• Performing duties such as packing, scanning, kitting, or counting products
• Verifying orders, labeling products, and using a handheld scanner
• Adhering to the 7S program
• Maintaining a clean environment at all times
• Working safely to protect yourself and your team

Qualifications to succeed at GXO:

Minimum requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including overtime
• Experience with handheld scanners
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills

The job requires the ability to:

• Lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Handling tools or equipment
• Tolerating hot or cold warehouse environments
