Description

Coordinates and expedites the flow of parts and assemblies between sections or departments, according to manufacturing priorities, and maintains manual or computerized records.

• Organize shop orders to be kitted.
• Kitting shop orders for on-time start via BOM.
• Establish priority based on FAB on-time start.
• Retrieve materials from receiving and primary operations.
• Maintain ERP accuracy within kitting.
• Issue materials per shop order.
• Organize and maintain the kitting area.
• Conduct quarterly cycle counts on primary and component parts.
• Assemble and distribute job packs to the processing area.
• Enter completed shop orders into the ERP system.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED with at least three years of manufacturing experience. Strong computer skills, especially with ERP systems. Well-organized, self-motivated, good communication skills, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines, and possess problem-solving skills. Ability to read and speak English.

Physical Demands

Regularly stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear; frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, vibration, noisy conditions, high temperatures, and confined spaces. Eye protection required.
