Job summary

Flex in Dallas is seeking a Material Handler to support inbound and outbound shipments, with shift 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. You will load/unload deliveries using forklifts and verify quantities against supplier counts.

You will stage materials, create receipts in the ERP system, perform inspections, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role requires a High School Diploma and at least one year in shipping/logistics, strong communication, and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner.
• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and reports discrepancies.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Perform inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if not meeting standards.
• Maintain inventory management systems to ensure orders are updated and billing documents are provided.
• Stage product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
