About The Position

We are seeking a motivated material handler to join our team. This position is responsible for executing safety standards, achieving daily productivity goals while meeting quality requirements, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with non-routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work methods and report unsafe conditions.
• Safely move steel using various equipment and techniques, including attaching slings, hooks, and guiding loads.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for up to 25 feet, exert force as needed, and work in various weather conditions.
• Apply proper bundling techniques and configure loads for transportation.
• Maximize trailer load capacity safely.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment properly.
• Identify safety issues and report them promptly.
• Work indoors and outdoors, adapting to weather conditions.
• Maintain spatial awareness and coordinate with team members.
• Attend all required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards safely.
• Plan and organize work independently and in teams.
• Learn product and inventory control techniques.
• Communicate effectively across departments.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds occasionally.
