Job summary

Apex Tool Group, LLC in Apex, NC is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to operate a forklift in our distribution center. You'll work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, performing transactions in WMS with an RF scanner and moving items with pallet jacks.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining safety while stocking and staging products. We offer excellent benefits from day one, PTO, holidays, and a $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklift or pallet jack.
• Distribution or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials.
• Move pallets to designated areas.
• Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties, as required or directed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Opportunity available for a 2nd Shift Material Handler in our Apex, NC distribution center. This position operates a forklift to move, load, and unload productsina distribution warehouseenvironment. Work schedule is B shift Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Use an RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials.
• Use forklift or powered pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas.
• Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.
• Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
