Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler 2 to move metal products from tables and delivery trucks, ensuring safety and quality in a busy warehouse. You will work in the Fabrication department and report to the Production Supervisor, supporting a range of tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy and reliability.

The role suits someone with attention to detail, safety mindset, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends as necessary.
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport of materials including metal, doors, frame from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.
