Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Material Handler 2 in Newnan, GA. The role focuses on moving aluminum extrusions from racks to the staging area for the saw operator, reporting to the Custom Door Fabrication Supervisor.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-focused, a team player, and comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Prior production experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Steel-toed shoes and safety gear are needed.

Qualifications

• Read and use a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
• Move and handle parts on concrete floors with safety gear.
• Wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hats, steel-toe boots.
• One year of prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Read written instructions and follow verbal directions.
• Be proficient with hand pallet or motorized pallet jack.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move aluminum extrusions from racks to the staging area for the saw operator.
• Assist in securing and organizing materials for production.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety policies.
