Job summary

Bonduelle Group Americas is seeking a Material Handler 2 (Shipping) to pick, unload, verify orders and ensure proper storage in a cold, fast-paced production environment. This role requires accurate order selection, adherence to GMP, safety guidelines, and efficient movement of finished goods to the cooler or loading docks.

You will operate in a multi-shift, distribution-focused setting, using JDE/DSI systems and scanners to locate products, stage orders by route, and wrap pallets for shipment,

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to have good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Rotate product by date in the storage cooler.
• Pick orders and stage by route for correct truck loading.
• Locate products in the JDE/DSI system using a scanner.
• Ensure orders are on correct pallets and pallet-wrapped.
• Move finished goods from production to cooler and maintain temperature.
• Inspect trailers for odor/holes and ensure dock security.

Position Summary:

The Material Handler 2 in Shipping is responsible for picking and unloading products rapidly, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and rotation. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.

What you will Do:

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.


• Rotate product by date in the storage cooler while staying in rotation and picking the correct product based on age.


• Pick orders and stage by route. Responsible for loading the product onto the correct truck in the correct sequence to ensure the customer receives their product.


• Locate products in the JDE/DSI system into the designated location using a scanner.


• Ensure all orders are picked on correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood) and wrap pallets.


• Move finished goods from production to the cooler and ensure proper product temperature.


• Inspect trailers for any odor or holes and confirm the chute is clean. Ensure trailers are locked in the dock door.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• GED/High School Diploma.


• 1-3 years of forklift experience (some positions require stand-up forklift experience).


• Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.


• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.


• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.


• Demonstrated ability to have good judgment.


• Some specialized training such as warehouse clerk type roles with computer experience and / or inventory type roles / exposure.
