Job summary

Bonduelle Americas, a world leader in ready-to-use plant-rich food, is seeking a Material Handler 2 in Shipping at Dartmouth. You will pick and unload products rapidly, verify orders and ensure proper storage and rotation in multiple refrigerated areas.

The role requires GMP/PPE/Safety adherence, forklift experience, ability to read English and lift up to 50 lbs. The team works in a fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment, with opportunities to contribute to Bonduelle's plant-based mission.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Rotate product by date in the storage cooler while staying in rotation and picking the correct product based on age.
• Pick orders and stage by route. Responsible for loading the product onto the correct truck in the correct sequence to ensure the customer receives their product.
• Locate products in the JDE/DSI system into the designated location using a scanner.
• Ensure all orders are picked on correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood) and wrap pallets.
• Move finished goods from production to the cooler and ensure proper product temperature.
• Inspect trailers for any odor or holes and confirm the chute is clean. Ensure trailers are locked in the dock door.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Minimum Qualifications:

• GED/High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience (some positions require stand-up forklift experience).
• Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to have good judgment.
• Some specialized training such as warehouse clerk type roles with computer experience and / or inventory type roles / exposure.
