Job summary

Bonduelle Group Americas is hiring a Material Handler 2 (Shipping) in our Warehouse. The role focuses on timely picking and unloading, verifying orders, and maintaining proper storage and rotation in cold facilities.

Responsibilities include loading products onto trucks in sequence, using JDE/DSI with a scanner, and ensuring pallets are wrapped and correctly stored. Candidates should have 1–3 years forklift experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years forklift experience; some roles require stand-up forklift.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math proficiency.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Rotate product by date in storage cooler and select correct items.
• Pick orders and stage by route; load onto trucks in correct sequence.
• Locate products in JDE/DSI using a scanner.
• Ensure correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood) and wrap pallets.
• Move finished goods from production to cooler and check temperatures.
• Inspect trailers for odor/holes; confirm chute is clean and dock doors locked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Material Handler 2 in Shipping is responsible for picking and unloading products rapidly, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and rotation. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.

What you will Do:

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Rotate product by date in the storage cooler while staying in rotation and picking the correct product based on age.
• Pick orders and stage by route. Responsible for loading the product onto the correct truck in the correct sequence to ensure the customer receives their product.
• Locate products in the JDE/DSI system into the designated location using a scanner.
• Ensure all orders are picked on correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood) and wrap pallets.
• Move finished goods from production to the cooler and ensure proper product temperature.
• Inspect trailers for any odor or holes and confirm the chute is clean. Ensure trailers are locked in the dock door.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• GED/High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience (some positions require stand-up forklift experience).
• Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to have good judgment.
• Some specialized training such as warehouse clerk type roles with computer experience and / or inventory type roles / exposure.
