Qualifications

  • Technical skills: Basic computer skills; ability to use MRP systems (Oracle experience preferred). Basic math and counting skills.
  • Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Other: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to follow safety rules and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Desired qualifications: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or stockroom/shipping function. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices. Valid driver’s license. Experience mentoring or training peers.

  • Pick, kit, bag, tag, pack and release materials to the production floor.
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
  • Use MRP systems (Oracle) to enter transactions, investigate inquiries, and update records.
  • Support shipping operations (including customer/carrier portals) and basic foam packing machine maintenance.
  • Move materials between projects and perform routine deliveries/picks.
  • Maintain source documents and filing to support inventory control.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and provide clear written/oral communication.
  • Train and mentor other team members and participate in self-directed team activities.
  • Keep your workstation, tools, and equipment clean and safe.
