Job summary

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Material Handler on 1st shift at our Conover, NC location. The role focuses on efficient, safe handling of unfinished and finished products to ensure smooth flow of materials and goods throughout production and shipping.

The ideal candidate should have basic reading, writing, and math skills, be capable of examining tape measures, and communicate well with supervisors and peers. SAP experience and willingness to work overtime are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Able to read a tape measure and interpret measurements.
• Familiar with SAP and basic computer use.
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs and work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and assemble parts into bedding components.
• Assist with other areas of the production area as needed.
