Job summary

Eaton's Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Material Handler on 1st shift. Primary duties include materials planning, receiving, storing, and distributing materials to support manufacturing.

The role requires RF device operation, inventory management, and forklift use, with safety and quality as priorities. Qualified candidates have at least 6 months in material handling, a High School diploma or GED, and must reside in the Knightdale area or be able to work without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience operating material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution
• The ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required
• No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within Knightdale, NC area in order to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material.
• Move needed material based on production plan and material requests.
• Kit parts and components; distribute to production lines with accuracy and maintain integrity of configured kits.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet the orders from our customers through daily monitoring of inventory; also perform cycle counts and maintain inventory system as required
• Load and unload trucks and inspect material for damage
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions
• Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary
