Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Material Handler for the Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC. The 1st shift runs from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

You will support manufacturing by planning, verifying, storing, organizing, and allocating materials to meet production goals. Responsibilities include operating RF devices, moving material per plan, kit assembly for lines, inventory integrity, truck loading/unloading, and safety/quality adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience operating material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
• No relocation provided; reside within Knightdale, NC area.

Responsibilities

• Operate and read hand-held RF units to locate, move, and allocate material.
• Move material based on production plan and material requests.
• Kit parts and components; distribute to production lines with accuracy.
• Maintain inventory levels; perform cycle counts and update inventory systems.
• Load and unload trucks; inspect material for damage.
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions; drive/maintain forklifts; perform 5S+ housekeeping.
