Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Monroe, NJ for 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm) with overtime as needed. You will support operations by moving material, using material handling equipment, packing and counting products, and verifying orders with a handheld scanner.

Qualifications include basic math, reading safety rules, and the ability to work in a team. Prior warehouse experience and handheld scanner familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand jacks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Pack, scan, kit or count products as needed
• Verify orders and label products with handheld scanner
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to the 5S program
