Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 06:00am–02:30pm) to move material and inventory within our Kentucky facility.

You will operate hand trucks, conveyors, and other equipment, perform packing, scanning, and counting tasks, and ensure accurate orders with a handheld scanner. The role requires basic math, the ability to read safety and operating documents, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, you’ll need to be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
