Job summary

The DAVIS Companies is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift in Andover, MA. This contract role supports our security screening solutions provider, contributing to accurate receiving, packing, and shipping operations.

Key duties include unloading freight, counting inventory, and ensuring quality control. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of warehouse experience, with preference for D365 ERP knowledge and safety certifications. Monday–Friday, $24/hr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
• General knowledge of D365 ERP System and Inventory Control preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and containers, assist in receiving freight, and ensure accurate product counts.
• Pick orders accurately and transport them to shipping locations using material handling equipment.
• Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness before dispatch.
• Maintain equipment and workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate inventory records and assist in physical counts.
