Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Material Handler (Second Shift) to receive, store, pick, and ship products at our Devens, MA location. The role ensures safety, accuracy, and timely orders while maintaining inventory integrity and organized work areas.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in warehousing, experience with labeling and packing, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Prior forklift experience or training is a plus, along with a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of warehousing experience.
• OSHA Forklift certification a plus.
• Hazmat certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and inspect for damage, infestation, or date codes.
• Pick and package orders, ensuring correct product, lot/serial details, and labeling.
• Ship outbound items, verify quantities and addresses, and secure products for transport.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently and maintain clean work area.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Repack or repair damaged goods and support general warehouse duties as needed.
