Job summary

Edgewell’s Production team is seeking a Material Handler to move products and components to and from the packaging line and to load and unload trucks. The role supports continuous operation by keeping lines supplied with the right components, operating forklifts, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, forklift experience, and the ability to work well in a team.

Job Purpose

• Move product and components to and from packaging line
• Load and unload trucks

Principal Function

• Keeping lines supplied with proper components to insure continuous operation.
• Operate and maintain stretch-wrappers, and other equipment.
• Loading and unloading of trailers
• Maintain proper documents and identification of product.
• Know how to operate and maintain fork lifts
• Safely operate forklifts at all times
• Report all problems to lead operator.
• Other lead/supervisor directed tasks.
• Fill in on line as needed.
• Train other team members.
• Required to follow all safety, FDA, GMP, GDP requirements

Results Expected

• Ensure proper loading and documentation of outgoing product.
• Ensure proper components supplied to line.
• Ensure proper skid wrapping of finished product.

Knowledge And Skill Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift driving skills.
• Understanding of resource needs list.
• Ability to function in a team environment.
