Position Summary

Primary purpose of this position: Operation of various lines/equipment. Responsible for production line rate. Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace while producing a quality product.

Essential Functions

Responsible for product quality and productivity.

Operate equipment within validated perimeters.

Responsible to help identify, and troubleshoot production equipment.

Performs preventative maintenance following a predictive maintenance methodology.

Change over the equipment according to production requirements to avoid unnecessary downtime.

Must be able to make minor machine adjustments. Document the work done.

Maintain correct set-up specs and its documentation.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Read and complete all required production documentation (e.g. Required Quality Checks and other reports).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines

Require d Skills and Experience

Two years mechanical training or previous work-related skill, knowledge in packaging/ production environment.

Basic math , reading, writing and computer skills required .

Preferred Skills and Experience

Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, and controls aspects of production equipment.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to see a complex task or project through to completion.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detailed oriented.

Ability to work across functions.

Strong organizational skills.

Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance.

Flexibility to work weekends and overtime

Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, and reaching

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (may be above 30 ambient degrees or below 20 ambient degrees in areas of production)

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, which would include sweeping and cleaning up as you go
