Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a warehouse associate in Willis, TX to perform loading/unloading, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and support inventory moves. Role requires safety focus, attention to detail, and teamwork to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.

Eligible candidates should be 18+, possess a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Certification to operate forklift and overhead crane is required or to be obtained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist

Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location, operating a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system

• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Base pay rate is $16.75 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools

• Assist co-workers and customers

• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
