Job summary

BEL USA in New York seeks a Production/Manufacturing Associate to support daily operations. You will pull stock, stage materials for production orders, and prepare shipments for non-imprint orders.

You will update inventory tags, maintain clean work areas, follow safety procedures, and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential to keep the Production Department flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.
• Employees must be in their current position for at least six months before applying.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock in accordance with printed work orders and stage for production.
• Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders.
• Change inventory tags and keep up-to-date.
• Maintain a constant work flow for the Production Department.
• Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment.
• Pulls product according to printed sample orders.
• Put stock away in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Packages samples and materials for shipping to customers, trade shows, etc.
• Responsible for inventory counts of samples in stock and requisitioning replacements from Production Planning.
• Properly labels samples with designated hangtag label for proper identification of sample.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
• Loads and unloads materials to and from trucks, pallets, racks and vehicles.
• Performs cycle counting. Identifies and reports inventory record errors.
• Reads Sales/Work orders, etc to determine items to be picked and moved to appropriate production areas.
• Enters Sales/Work orders, transfers, and scrap replacement transactions in the computer system.
• Reliable, regular attendance is essential.
• Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.
• Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Internal Application Eligibility Requirements

• Employees must be in their current position for at least six (6) months before being eligible to apply to an open position.
