This position involves reading and executing work orders to meet customer requirements efficiently. It is a nonexempt (hourly) role reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, with no supervisory duties. The role requires adherence to safety standards and may involve overtime to fulfill customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
• Safely move steel using appropriate equipment, attach slings or hooks, and guide loads.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, reach, squat, and walk up to 5 miles daily, using personal protective equipment.
• Apply proper bundling, configure loads, and maximize trailer capacity safely.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment, report safety issues.
• Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions.
• Maintain spatial awareness and attend required meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
