Job Description

We are currently hiring a Material Handler 1st shift in our Shipping department. 1st Shift is 7a to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday with some Mandatory Overtime on the Weekend! Apply now for consideration

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Will be operating forklifts to move parts and finished units

2. Work from freight bills and packing lists from incoming trucks.

3. Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify parts numbers on supplies, material and equipment.

4. Load/unload trucks & carriers manually and/or with lift trucks.

5. Pack and unpack supplies, materials, and equipment; weight and place proper postage on packages - cartons.

6. Move material between manufacturing areas, to and from storage areas.

7. Keypunch warehouse stacker and/or activate warehouse stacker in the storage and/or retrieving required material and equipment as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Licensed to operate mobile industrial vehicles

3. Ability work on feet for extended periods of time including frequent bending and lifting.

4. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

5. Ability to use hands and hand tools regularly throughout the shift.
