New Flyer is seeking a Material Handler to help receive, store, and move materials for our production lines. You will help maintain accurate inventory and assist assembly technicians while upholding rigorous safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The position runs on first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, with benefits including a union-based $26.12 hourly wage, paid holidays and vacation, a 401(k) with company match, and on-the-job training in a growth-focused team shaping

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift, warehouse, inventory control and/or equipment operating experience preferred.
• Solid, up-to-date work history is strongly desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to safety and hazard mitigation.

As a Material Handler at New Flyer, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring efficient operation within our production environment. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and moving materials to support our manufacturing processes. You'll work actively to maintain safety standards and optimize inventory flow while supporting assembly technicians in their daily tasks.

Hours are 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 3:00p.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong preference for candidates who have forklift, warehouse, inventory control and/or equipment operating experience
• Solid, up-to-date and consistent work history is strongly desired
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Commitment to safety and the ability to recognize and mitigate hazards
