Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving for an on-site role in Rochester Hills, MI. This is an immediate opening with the potential to hire in as a permanent employee. Pay is $21 to $24.50 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in shipping/receiving or material handling, forklift experience (license preferred), experience with RF scanners and SAP, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required; certification is a plus (training provided).
• Experience using RF scanners; SAP experience preferred.

Immediate Need, $21 - 24.50 per hour

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving candidate to join a busy warehouse team. This is an immediate opening with the opportunity to be hired in as a permanent employee.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
• Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips
• Stage materials for production and shipping
• Pull and deliver materials to the production floor
• Process shipping and receiving paperwork
• Enter receiving transactions into SAP
• Generate shipping labels and internal storage labels
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and material movement
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintain shipping documentation and records
• Support warehouse and logistics operations as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of shipping and receiving or material handling experience
• Forklift experience required. Certification is a plus. Company can provide training if needed
• Experience using RF scanners
• SAP experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license
