Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a warehouse associate in Royal Pines, NC. You will unload/load trucks, scan parts, and stage materials for put away and delivery to production areas.

You will operate a forklift, use SAP for warehouse tasks, and ensure accurate paperwork and labeling. Ideal candidates have at least two years in a warehouse setting, a forklift license, basic Windows/SAP skills, and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensed to operate forklift.
• Minimum two years of related warehouse experience.
• Basic MS Windows and SAP operating tasks.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team.
• Must follow safety rules and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load trucks.
• Verify quantity loading/unloading is accurate.
• Ensure paperwork and labelling is correct.
• Scan parts for receipt/delivery as required.
• Stage material for put away/pickup.
• Review assembly build requirements.
• Deliver material from the warehouse to production areas and vice versa.
• Provide support to decant areas.
• Drive forklift or operate other power equipment to transport materials.
• Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations.
• Notify supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies.
• Stack materials in designated area.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Communicate and enforce safe work procedures.
• Identify and address safety issues and corrective actions.
• Adhere to quality and control policies.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Picks and stages parts for delivery to the production areas in such a manner that ensures that the correct quantity of the part is delivered to the correct place.
• Delivers material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versa.
• Provides support to the decant areas.
• Drives forklift or operates other power equipment to transport a variety of materials, parts, or products.
• Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations.
• Notifies supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies.
• Stacks materials in designated area.
• Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Communicate and enforce safe work procedures.
• Identify and close safety issues (suggestions, inspection and investigation findings) and their corrective actions.
• Understands and adheres to current quality and control policies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
